Having proven its concept in Scandinavia and the US, as well as more recently in New Zealand, Northfork is ready to expand into new markets. Driving that growth will be Harald Molander. Harald has joined the Northfork team as Head of Sales across EU and Latam.

International expansion

"We are delighted to welcome Harald to the team," states Northfork Co-founder Erik Wallin. "His extensive experience of growing businesses internationally will support the company's growth across Europe and Latin America."

Harald holds a master's degree in international business and speaks four languages fluently. His experience spans international sales and growth, along with change management. Over the past 16 years, he has taken several Swedish brands to international markets.

New opportunities

"I'm excited to be bringing such a high-quality product to new countries," comments Harald. "Too many grocery retailers don't provide a seamless digital shopping experience. Northfork's technology is going to change that. The result will be a vastly better grocery shopping experience for consumers around the world."

Harald has lived, studied and worked in countries including Colombia, Argentina, Sweden, Switzerland and France. He will blend his knowledge of local markets with Northfork's global potential. The company is already showcasing new ways to shop by recipe. Most recently, it announced a new partnership with NBCU/Today, enabling viewers to shop for recipes they've seen on television in just a few clicks or taps.

"There are so many opportunities in the digital recipe space," concludes Northfork's Erik Wallin. "Harald will be pursuing those opportunities with retailers and third-party content producers across Europe and Latin America. Retailers can look forward to higher cart values as a result, while third parties can also increase their revenue. And the ultimate beneficiary is, of course, the consumer."

Harald will join recently appointed colleagues José Namen, Jez Collins and Caitlyn Summers in growing the Northfork brand.
